The lawsuit was filed in the US District Court in San Jose on Wednesday and seeks unspecified financial damages on behalf of consumers who previously purchased Apple Intelligence-capable devices.
Apple touted its AI features for the upcoming lineup while knowing “it could not actually provide the capabilities that it was advertising,” causing “unprecedented excitement” that the company could not deliver on, per the lawsuit.
